Our Human Resources team plays a critical role in fostering a culture of learn, grow and belong at General Mills and bringing our framework of Work with Heart to life. Human Resources focuses on inspiring our talent and teams to drive winning performance and foster an inclusive culture. Through exceptional HR practices, support and tools, we enable our employees to maximize their full potential and develop future-ready capabilities. Human Resources supports the business to build agile organizations while driving employee engagement.

The function is aligned around three areas of practice to support our employees:

  • Centers of Excellence
  • HR Operations

The Business HR organization manages strategic partnerships with the business, builds talent pipelines, manages organization design & effectiveness and succession planning thereby delivering superior business results.

We have Centers of excellence for Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Communications & Engagement.

The Talent Acquisition team helps us reach potential talent pool and select the best talent. We also visit campuses for select roles and are a preferred company in many reputed campuses in India!

The Learning & Development team focuses on building critical capabilities across the organization. We follow the 70/20/10 principle to bring specially curated, differential learning experiences for our employees.

The Communications & Engagement team manages internal communications, leverages social media (internal and external) to cascade information, create awareness and connect with employees. We have a thriving community on Yammer as well external social media where we connect with existing and prospective employees and share glimpses of life at General Mills!

At General Mills, the health & wellbeing of our employees is of prime importance to us. We have tie-ups with experts in the industry to bring the best in class health & wellbeing solutions for our employees.

Our HR Operations team manages compensation & benefits, statutory/audit compliances, vendor partnerships, employee relations and mobility.
